Triangle Coffee Shop is a true gem in downtown Clayton. This is not just a coffee shop — it’s an experience you won’t find just anywhere. The space, a charming little mid-century style house, was designed and brought to life with so much care by its owners: Dani (a professional chef) and his wife (a talented architect). They have personally built and installed much of what you see, and you can feel that passion in every detail. The atmosphere is cozy, unique, and full of character. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel like you belong. This is nothing like a soulless coffee chain — everything here is crafted to offer a complete experience, from the food (original and delicious, created with Dani’s talent and heart) to the coffee and the space that invites you to stay. This is a local business that truly deserves our support. You can feel the dedication, passion, and hard work behind everything they do. Thank you to these wonderful people who put their hearts into their work. I wish them all the success in the world, and I hope many more people discover this beautiful spot. Highly recommended!

The coziest coffee shop in Johnston County. Super nice staff, very cozy environment and great drinks. We got the pumpkin spiced latte and the turmeric pumpkin chai (outstanding!!!). Great vibes, music and relaxing environment. Felt like a great place to chill on a Friday morning. So much quieter than the coffee shop down the road… We will be back!!

Really enjoyed this find on a cold windy day. The variety of coffee & specials were exciting, I tested out my first visit here with a standard carmel macchiato w/ almond milk and it was fabulous! I also got the Italian Summer toast on gluten free bread and substituted the gorgonzola with a basalmic drizzle on the pears & prosciutto. . They were happy to do so and it was delicious. My hubby got a delectable Teddy Bear Colombian and of course a bacon donut. We'll be back it was a very cherry spot, we got our food fast and everything was yum! Our friend got a vanilla milkshake and enjoyed immensely.

I have been wanting to check this particular coffee shop downtown Clayton for awhile! We (my Beagle and I) stopped in. Atmosphere is simple and clean. The menu is the usual coffee shop items and a few really unique treats. The beverage that caught my eye was the Purple Colombian Iced Coffee. I asked the Barista what makes it purple. I did not hear what she said. However, my Beagle was insisting we leave to continue our stroll downtown. The service was friendly and quick! I would recommend they have outdoor seating. The park is near, so that was a great alternative place to sit. SO! The beverage was really good! The purple foam on top was made from purple potato powder. How neat is that!! The pricing was a little rich for my pocketbook. But, this was a nice treat. They do make fresh Argentina style Empanadas everyday. Yes, I'll be back! Thank you for letting me bring my Beagle in!

Ooooo man ok I LOVE Triangle Coffee Shop in Clayton! It’s so cute inside and everyone was kind. They said everything is house made including syrups and baked goods. Both the gingerbread chai and monte Cristo sandwich were excellent! So many delicious looking drink specials, it was hard to choose. It’s a bit of a drive from me but it’s worth it! Check it out and then walk around to some of their cute downtown stores. Have free WiFi and lots of little rooms to find a quiet spot to work.

Had to pull over for a change to my remote work schedule and had a lovely visit to this coffee shop! Good iced chai and a decent cherry Danish for me. I probably should have had it warmed. They have a variety of drinks and food items as well as seating options. I was able to use WiFi and find a place to plug in. I'd say the seating can be a little cramped and music is noticeable - so bring those headphones if needed. That being said, the music was good LOL Also very good service! Will be back the next time I pass through town! And, if I can find parking ;)

Triangle Coffee Shop is new coffee shop in downtown Clayton that has friendly staff, delicious drinks and food options in a cozy environment. They also offer local coffee on drip or bags for you to brew at home. It’s a great place to sit and relax. The downtown area offers plenty of local shops to enjoy.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would! Everything is always incredible. I’m a Raleigh native (and thank goodness I am) because if I lived closer, I’d be here nearly every day! Every time I’ve come, I try something different and everything is always 10/10! Their sandwiches are incredible, the medianoche and turkey berrylicious are top tier. Their strawberry matcha is the best I’ve ever had, but their coffee is delicious too! Everything is made in house. The staff are always kind. I only wish they had a slightly larger space! Sometimes finding a seat can be difficult, but it’s all worth it after that first sip or first bite.

What a beautiful place! Love the atmosphere and all the little details. I love the seasonal new drinks! A couple months ago I tried the pumpkin machta, and now the Dubai matcha - wow! So delicious! The strawberry matcha donuts looked absolutely amazing! We had just eaten lunch but we will definitely be back soon to try their food, it looked sooo good! Edit to add: had the "Italian Summer" toast - wow!! So delicious! I've also now had the ham with cheese and beef empanadas -also so good! Love the sauce it comes with too

Really cute coffee shop! Looks like a renovated and repurposed home. You walk into the cozy atmosphere and are welcomed by kind smiles ready to serve you. I ordered the chicken maple empanada with a Clayton fog- both were delicious!!! The space is great for a date or a small get together with friends. I enjoyed the flavors so much that I decided to order a latte to go (that was lovely also). If you’re looking for a quiet space to enjoy a slow morning with a book or puzzle, this is the place for you. I highly recommend checking out the Triangle Coffee Shop.
